Heavy rain to persist in Tamil Nadu until 16th October!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that heavy rain will persist for 5 days until 16th October in Tamil Nadu and that there are prospects for mild rain for 2 days in Chennai Metro City.
Due to the prevailing cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Kanyakumari Ocean, there are prospects for heavy rain in 16 districts for 2 days on Thursday and Friday (12th & 13th October)
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for heavy rain in the dis districts of Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Trichy, Theni, Dindigul, Thenkasi, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Karur, Erode, Namakkal, Salem, Trichy, Krishnagiri, and Thirupathur.
