Alert: Prospects for rain with thunder in 7 districts including Chennai!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the cyclonic format prevailing in the lower layers of the atmosphere over the Kanyakumari Ocean sections, there are prospects for rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry. and Karaikkal.
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has given the alert signal that there are prospects for rain with thunders in the next few hours in 7 districts including Chennai and Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu!
In a notification released in this regard by the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, it is mentioned:
"Due to the cyclonic format prevailing in the lower layers of the atmosphere over the Kanyakumari Ocean Sections, there are prospects for rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal.
As such, there are prospects for rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places in the next 3 hours in the districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, Cuddalore, Kallakkurichi, Nilgiri, Karur, and Dindigul."
