Today, 25th October, a solar eclipse would occur and due to this reason the Tirupati Ezhumalaiyan temple procession would be closed from 8.11 am to 7.30 pm in the evening. This was announced by the Tirupati Devasthanam. A government order or GO has been released regarding announcing holiday for all the schools and colleges in TN on 25th of October 2022.
Earlier, the parents and the students have requested the TN government to declare a holiday on 25th October. As a result, a new GO has been released. To compensate for the loss on 25th October, 19th November would be a working day for all the schools and colleges across the state.
It is learnt that more than 5 lakhs people from Chennai have gone to their native places for the deepavali festival. Today, everyone would have to come back to Chennai for their work. As a result, the people would be forced to leave their native places tonight itself. Parents and students have requested the TN govt to announce Tuesday as a holiday. Following this, the government has announced a holiday today 25th October 2022. Regarding the holiday, an ordinance was passed.
As per the notification from the TN Govt all the schools, colleges and educational institutions across TN would be closed on 25-10-2022 for the convenience of teachers and students returning back to Chennai. It mentioned that 19th November would be a working day to compensate for the holiday on 25th of October.
