Record Breaking news about the passengers traveling in the metro trains on 21st October in Chennai!!

According to the Chennai Metro Rail Administration, as many as 263210 people travelled in metro trains in Chennai on 21st of October 2022.
It was brought out by a release from CMRL that metro trains have been providing a safe and reliable mode of transport for the Chennai residents and for those who come from outside Chennai. Now, many have been travelling in these metro trains to reach their destinations in Chennai.
It must be noted that on 3rd of January 2022 as many as 135977 people travelled by these metro trains in Chennai. On 28th of February, metro trains in Chennai were used by as many as 143252 passengers. Metro trains were used by as many as 210634 passengers on 28th of March. Then on 25th of April, a maximum of 174475 passengers travelled in the metro trains in Chennai. On 26th of May, as many as 191720 commuters used metro trains in Chennai. The numbers crossed 2lakhs on 3rd June when a maximum of 2 02456 passengers used metro trains to reach their destinations in Chennai.
On 27th of July, a maximum of 197307 passengers used metro trains. On 29th of August, a maximum 220898 passengers used metro trains. Point is that on 30th September a maximum of 246406 passengers used metro trains in Chennai. On 20th of October 2022, maximum of 248556 passengers travelled by metro trains and on 21st of October maximum of 263610 passengers travelled in the metro trains in Chennai. Information is that CMRL is offering a 20% discount for those who travel using QR Code tickets and travel cards etc.
