The temple corridors of Sabarimala Lord Ayyappan temple were opened on 16th November. A large number of devotees have been visiting Darshan so far! As the weekend started today being a Saturday (26th November), it is rightly expected that there would be a swarm of more devotees during the 2 days of the weekend to have Darshan of Lord Sri Ayyappan!
On the first day of the temple corridors opening, on 17th November, 47947 devotees had Darshan of Lord Sri Ayyappan. In the first 5 days, 261874 devotees had Darshan. Sabarimala Temple Devaswom Board officials shared that so far, 5.50 Lakh devotees had Darshan of Lord Sri Ayyappan,
The temple corridors of Sabarimala Sri Ayyappan temple were opened for the occasion of Mandala Poojai and Makara Vilakku Poojai on 16th November.
It may be recalled that due to the raging impact of the coronavirus pandemic, with restrictions imposed, the number of visiting devotees was rather very low! However, as all restrictions have been relaxed at present, there has been a huge surge in the number of devotees visiting Sabarimala for the Darshan of Lord Sri Ayyappan.
With the system of ONLINE Registration, devotees are permitted to have Darshan. The Devaswom officials shared that around 1.20 Lakh devotees register ONLINE for Darshan and have it!
Further, giving due consideration to the devotees visiting without ONLINE registration, arrangements have been made for the facility to register for immediate Darshan!
