Tamil Nadu State Government: Aadhar Card mandatory to avail of all welfare benefits!

The Department of Finance of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the citizens must have Aadhar Card details to avail of the various welfare measures implemented by the State Government of Tamil Nadu!
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has been gradually making the Aadhar card mandatory to avail of the various subsidies and offers offered by it!
Recently, an announcement was made to link the Aadhar Card with the Electricity Connection Number for residences, handlooms, engine-operated looms, and agricultural connections. This task is in the implementation process and is being expedited to complete earlier!
In this scenario, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that Aadhar is MANDATORY for all citizens to avail of the various welfare measures and subsidies offered by it!
As per this, the Treasuries and the Accounts Department have been nominated as the User Agency to the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA).
It has been announced through this department it has been strictly announced that Aadhar cards will be mandatory to avail of the various welfare schemes offered by the Tamil Nadu State Government.
