The programme – ‘Chennai Sangamam- Namma Ooru Thiruvizha’ – is being jointly organized by the Departments of Arts & Culture and Department oif Tourism of the Tamil Nadu State Government!
In this regard, the Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Industries, Thangam Thennarasu and the Member of Parliament (MP) Kanimozhi had a session with the the Press Reporters today (Saturday, 31st December). They shared:
“As a long-time tradition, the State of Tamil Nadu wears a festive and cheerful look in the month of January every year! Various programmes and performance depicting the decades/centuries old tradition of Tamil Culture and Arts are performed in January in the State of Tamil Nadu. Some of the events are Jallikkattu, International Book Fair, and Chennai Sangamam!
‘Chennai Sangamam’ is performed presided by the Tamil Nadu Member of Parliament Kanimozhi.
Subsequently, these programmes are set to be performed throughout the State of Tamil Nadu zone-wise!
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin will inaugurate the Tamil Nadu Tourism Fair at Island Grounds on 13th January 2023. These programmes will be performed in 16 locations in Chennai Metro Cityin various Parks and Playgrounds in the city!
‘Food Fair’ is also scheduled to be conducted! The noted film music director, Santosh Narayanan will be coordinating in organinsing these events at different places!”
