Pongal Special Buses: Details of Bus Terminals and the special bus services!

On the special occasion of Pongal Holidays, to facilitate citizens to travel to celebrate Pongal in their native places, special buses are to be operated from the Chennai Metro City from 12th January to 14th January. For this, 6 terminals for buses starting to different places are located in Chennai Metro City!
As a measure to ensure smooth and free travel without any hardships for the passengers, the above arrangement of 6 different bus terminals has been set.
The 6 terminals for the special buses for Pongal will be – Madhavaram, K K Nagar, Tambaram, Tambaram Railway Station, Poovirundhavalli (Poonamallee) and Koyambedu!
The list giving details of the destination of buses starting from the above 6 bus terminals in Chennai Metro City is also been released:
Madhavaram New Bus Terminus
Buses proceeding via Red Hills (Sengundram), Ponneri, Gummidippundi, Oothukkottai and Tirupathi
K K Nagar Bus terminal
Buses proceeding via ECR (East Coast Road) to Puducherry, Cuddalore and Chidambaram
Tambaram Bus Terminal
(Arignar Anna Bus Terminus) – Buses proceeding via Tindivanam, Kumbakonam, and Thanjavur
Tambaram Railway Station Bus terminus
Buses proceeding via Tindivanam to Thiruvannamalai, and buses proceeding via Porur, Sethuppattu, Vandavasi, Senji and buses proceeding via Tindivanam, Panruti, Neyveli, Vadalur, Chidambaram, Kattumannarkoil, and buses proceeding via Tindivanam, Pudhuchery, Cuddalore and Chidambaram
