On the special occasion of Pongal Holidays, to facilitate citizens to travel to celebrate Pongal in their native places, special buses are to be operated from the Chennai Metro City from 12th January to 14th January. For this, 6 terminals for buses starting to different places are located in Chennai Metro City!
As a measure to ensure smooth and free travel without any hardships for the passengers, the above arrangement of 6 different bus terminals has been set.
The 6 terminals for the special buses for Pongal will be – Madhavaram, K K Nagar, Tambaram, Tambaram Railway Station, Poovirundhavalli (Poonamallee) and Koyambedu!
