Government Primary Schools reopen today after the half-yearly vacation!

All the Tamil Nadu State Government Primary Schools are reopening today (Thursday, 5th January) after the half-yearly vacation.
The Half-yearly Examinations and the third-semester examinations concluded on 23rd December. The schools closed then for a half-yearly vacation. The schools reopened on 1st January.
However, the half-yearly vacation was extended for all the government primary schools!
It may be noted that the primary school teachers had a training session on reaching under the scheme, `annum ezhuthum` (Figures and letters`) from 2nd January till yesterday (Wednesday, 4th January). Subsequently, the government-government-aided primary schools reopened today (Thursday, 5th January).
