1 lakh for people who win the Chief Minister Trophy

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Ms. J Jayalalitha has taken initiatives to promote sports champions for National and International events. The Chief Minister’s wants Tamilnadu to stand first in sports and other related activities.
The Chief Minister Trophy tournament happened last year was a huge success. This year Chief Minister has announced that 1 lakh will be given to sportsmen and women who win Gold; 75,000 for silver and 50,000 for Bronze. More than 8 Crores has been allotted for this tournament. All men and women from different districts are expected to participate in this tournament.
