The corridors of Sabarimalai Lord Sri Ayyappan temple are to be opened on 12th February for the performance of the Poojas during the Tamil Calendar Month of Masi.
The special holy occasions of Mandala Pooja and Makara Vilakku Poojas for the year 2022-23 were performed in Sabarimalai and concluded on 20th January.
Over 50 Lakhs Devotees had Darshan of Lord Sri Ayyappan!
As this was performed after a gap of 2 years due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, there was an increase in the crowd of devotees this year!
Traditionally, the temple corridors are opened every month as per the Tamil Calendar and Poojas are performed. As such, for the Tamil Calendar month of Masi, the temple corridors of Lord Sri Ayyappan Temple are to be opened on 12th February.
The Sabarimalai Temple corridors will be opened by Jayaraman Namboodri at 5.00 PM. Subsequently, special poojas and prayers will be performed for 5 days from the 13th to the 17th of February.
ONLINE registration for the above Poojas is presently in progress. Poojas will be performed daily from 5.00 AM to 1.00 PM and from 5.00 PM toil 10.00 PM. (The temple corridors will remain open). Further, `Padi Poojai` will be performed daily from 7.00 PM until 17th February! Note that only those devotees who had booked earlier will be permitted for Darshan of lord Sri Ayyappan.
