Good news for train passengers: Chennai-Madurai Tejas Express train will now stop at Tambaram!

Southern Railway Division has announced that the Chennai-Madurai Tejas Express train will now stop at Tambaram Station from tomorrow (Sunday, 26th February)!
The Tejas Express (Train No. 22671), which starts from Chennai Egmore Station at 6.00 AM daily, will reach Madurai at 12.15 PM.
On the return trip, Tejas Express (Train No. 22672) will start at 3.00 PM from Madurai and will reach Chennai Egmore Railway Station at 9.15 PM.
Presently, these 2 trains stop at Trichy and Dindigul Railway Stations.
In this situation, Southern Railway Commissions Joint Director (Execution Department) has announced that this Chennai-Madurai-Chennai Tejas express will now stop at Tambaram Railway Station from 26th February for 6 months ON A TRIAL BASIS!
