Special trains between Vasco-da-Gama and Velankanni

Southern Railway will operate special trains between Vasco-da-Gama and Velankanni to clear the extra rush of passengers on the eve of Velankanni festival.
T.No.07315 Vasco-da-Gama – Velankanni Special will leave Vasco-da-gama at 14.00 hrs. on 28.8.2013 & 1.9.2013 and arrive Velankanni at 19.15 hrs. the next day. T.No.07316 Velankanni – Vasco-da-Gama Special will leave Velankanni at 23.45 hrs. on 29.8.2013 & 2.9.2013 and arrive Vasco-da-Gama at 05.30 hrs. on the the third day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 3-tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 8 General Second Class and 2 second class cum luggage coaches. The trains will stop at Madgaon, Sanvordern, Kulem, Castle Rock, Londa, Dharwar, Hubli, Haveri, Davangere, Birur, Arsikere, Tumkur, Yeshwantpur, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Rasipuram, Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
Advance reservation for the above trains have commenced on 22.8.2013.
