Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa to present medals to policemen today

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will present President of India Medals and the Tamilnadu Chief Minister`s Medals to personnel of security forces today at a ceremony that will take place 4.30 pm at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
The Chief Minister will present medals to personnel from Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Fire and Rescue Services, Prison and Home Guards & Civil Defense.
The awards will be presented for their gallantry, distinguished service, meritorious service, correctorial service, outstanding devotion to duty, excellence in investigation, excellence in finger print service, excellence in technical & specialized service and excellence in public service.
