Several restrictions have been announced by the Indian Railways for the night time passengers in the trains. These new restrictions have been announced by taking into account the comfort of the passengers.

It has been mentioned that the passengers  must not smoke or drink during the night journeys in the train carriages. After 10pm, no passengers would be allowed to talk loudly over their mobile phones. The passengers must not listen to the loud music and they must  use their headphones and listen to the music. Except for the night lights, other lights must be switched off after 10pm.

The ticket inspector must not disturb the passengers to check their tickets after 10pm. The passengers must not talk loudly after 10pm and when those passengers in the middle berth want to sleep then the lower berth passengers must not object.

After 10pm, there must not be any online delivery but breakfast could be ordered at night. Strict action would be taken against those passengers who smoke, consume alcohol or carry any flammable items with them. It is learnt that the ticketing inspectors, catering staff and other railway staff have been asked not to create any inconvenience to the passengers in the nights.
