Intense Security arrangement for the Prime Ministers Chennai Visit!

Intense security arrangements have been organized for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Chennai Metro City. The public is banned from visiting Marina Beach!
The construction of the new building covering 1.36 Lakhs square metres for Rs. 1760/- Crores has been completed. This building is set to be inaugurated today (Saturday, 8th April) at 3.00 PM. As such, the Chennai Airport administration has advised the flight passengers arriving at Chennai Airport to plan their trip accordingly.
After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharath superfast Express at the Chennai MGR Railway Station. As such, the train passengers will be allowed inside the station through the Allikulam Salai.
As such, entry is banned at the main entrance gates of the Chennai MGR Railway Station. Especially, the entrance to Platforms #4 & #6 will be blocked. The Express trains will be operated as scheduled as usual.
Prime Minister Narendra Mosi is also participating in the 150th Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Matt at the Vivekananda House, in Ice House, Chennai.
Due to defamatory talk about Prime Minister Narendra Masi, the Congress Political Leader Rahul Gandhi was given a 2-year sentence in prison. His MP seat was also removed. The Congress Party leaders and members have been protesting this throughout the country. As such, as the 125th Anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Matt are scheduled to be performed at Vivekanandhar Matt, at Kamarajar Salai, intense security arrangements have been made here. The Police have planned to `seal` Marina Beach!
Apart from this, an order has also been issued that fishermen are banned from fishing in the area from the Kannagi Statue up to Nochikuppam in Marina Beach until 7.00 PM.
Notification released by the Chennai Traffic Police yesterday (Friday, 7th April):
There are prospects for the slow movement of traffic in the Kamarajar Salai from the INS near the Napier Bridge, Adyar, up to Chennai Central Station until 6.00 PM.
When the Prime Minister is participating in the Vivekananda Hall (125th Anniversary function of Sri Ramakrishna Matt),
The vehicles will be diverted to R K Road at the Gandhi Statue.
The vehicles proceeding from here to Natesan Road signal (Ice House) Rathna Café, Triplicane High Road, and Wallaja Road Signal will have to tune from the Labourers` Statue or take a right turn to Anna Salai.
Vehicles proceeding from the War Memorial may move to Labourers` Statue, Wallaja Road, and towards Anna Salai or Triplicane High Road or Wallaja Road signalling for turning.
Commercial Vehicles will not be permitted to operate from 2.00 PM to 8.00 PM from Poonamallee High Road, Anna Arch, until Muthusamy Bridge.
Commercial Vehicles Proceeding from Kilpauk Halders Road will be diverted via E V K Sampath Road to Poonamallee High Road towards Nair`s Point.
Vehicles operating on Poonamallee High Road have to turn at Anna Arch and should take Anna Nagar, New Avadi Road. Heavy-duty Vehicles proceeding from Kilpauk Langs Garden and Gandhi-Irwin over thehe bridge, have to turn to Poonamallee High Road and will be diverted to Udipi Point to go to Poonamallee High Road.
Vehicles proceeding from Adyar Greenways Road will be diverted to Mandavelli. Vehicles proceeding from Royapuram, NRT New Bridge, Stanley Circle, Mint Signal, Moolakothalam Signal Basin Bridge Top and Vyasarpadi.
Just to ensure safety, the checking by traffic police at Kamarajar Salai Labourers` Statue to Vivekananda House has been intensified!
Traffic Police Notification: The vehicular traffic from Pallavaram to the Airport is blocked.
At the GST Road, the vehicles proceeding from Tambaram, Meenmbakkam and Chromepet have to take and cross the Thiruneermalai over-bridge, 200`Radius Salai, Eekkangadu Junction Kamakshi Hospital, and then move toward Velachery or Thuraippakkam route.
Vehicles proceeding from G N T Salai, Perungalathur to Tambaram, Pallavaram or diverted via Tambaram over-bridge, towards the right. The heavy-duty vehicles moving from Kishkintha Salai have to move via the Outer Ring Road towards Poonamallee.
The traffic from Pallavaram to the Airport, Guindy is blocked.
Vehicles on GST Road from Tambaram, Chromepet, to Meenambakkam and Guindy have to cross the Thiruneermalai over-bridge, 200` Radial Road, Eekkangadu Junction, Kamakshi Hospital to Velachery OR Thuraippakkam towards Chennai Metro City.
