Surprising!! Operation of a new Vande Bharat train between Chennai & Kanniyakumari

Vande Bharat or VB trains have gained immense popularity due to their amazing operating speeds. There are currently as many as 13 VB trains operating between the cities in India.It is known to us that one VB train is being operated between Chennai and Mysore and Chennai and Coimbatore.
Just a couple of days back, the Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narednra Modi grabbed many eyeballs when he launched VB train service between Chennai and Coimbatore. This VB train is being operated 6 days per week and in a short time the VB train has been appreciated by many people. Till 17th of April, people have booked tickets in this VB train between Chennai and Coimbatore.
Now, people want a new VB train between Chennai and Kanniyakumari in the south of Tamil Nadu. It was later brought out by Mr. Ramanathan of Vnchi movement Company that trains running from north to Trichy and Madurai were not extended to Kanniyakumari and they do not have connecting trains to Kanniyakumari . People find it hard to go to Chennai from south of Madurai due to lack of enough train facilities. He concluded that VB trains must operate between Chennai and Kanniyakumari to help the people from south of Madurai.
