A special 12-day pilgrimage travel tour package is being organized on behalf of the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
In this regard, the Managing Director of the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), K. Ravikumar, and the Assistant General Manager (Tourism), S. Subramani, shared with the press reporters yesterday (Tuesday, 11th April) in Trichy that a special `Bharath Gaurav Tourism` train has been introduced by the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation.
This train consists of 4 air-conditioned coaches and 7 coaches with sleeping berths, with a capacity for 752 passengers. On the first trip of this special pilgrimage train, a pilgrimage trip is being organized by the Southern Region Railways.
Commencing on May 4th for a 12-day pilgrimage, the tour will cover Pune, Konark, Kolkata, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhi, Allahabad, and other places. During this pilgrimage, lodging, local tours, food, medical assistance, security, and tourist guides will be provided by the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
Fare:
For a single passenger, the fare for this trip in an air-conditioned coach is Rs. 35,651/- and for non-air-conditioned travel, it is Rs. 20,367/-.
