Weather: Prospects for rain in Tamil Nadu on the 20th and 21st of April

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects for rain in one or two places in Tamil Nadu on the 20th and 21st of April.

In a notification released in this regard by the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, Pa. Senthamaraikkanna, it is mentioned that a dry climate will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on the 18th and 19th of April (today and tomorrow).

Today (Tuesday, 18th April), the temperature may be higher by 5 degrees Fahrenheit compared to the average!

There are prospects for the easterly and westerly winds to meet each other in the upper layers of the atmosphere over South India. Due to this, there are prospects for mild to medium rain on the 20th and 21st of April in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Chennai Metro City and its suburbs will be somewhat cloudy over the next 48 hours. The maximum temperature will be 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperature will be 80 Degrees Fahrenheit.

As of 8.30 AM yesterday (Monday, 17th April), the maximum rainfall recorded in centimeters at Kanyakumari District Perunchani Dam and Puthan Dam was 1 each.
