Selvamagal Saving Scheme: Tamil Nadu in the 2nd Place!

The state of Tamil Nadu has secured the 2nd place in the maximum number of accounts opened under the `Selvamagal Saving Scheme`! India Post officials shared the following in this regard:
"`Selvamagal Saving Scheme` is a special saving scheme for girl children who are 10 years old. In this scheme, the parents of the 10-year-old girl can save as little as Rs. 100/- per month. So far, 38.38 lakh Selvamagal Saving Scheme accounts have been opened in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu stands second in the list of states with the maximum number of Selvamagal Savings Scheme accounts!"
