The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 12th Board Results for the year 2023. Students can now access their scorecards through multiple platforms. The official websites of CBSE, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in, allow students to check their results online. Additionally, the results can also be viewed on DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in. For convenience, students have the option to receive their results via SMS and IVRS as well.
This year`s overall pass percentage has witnessed a decline compared to the previous year. The pass percentage stands at 87.33%, marking a decrease of 5.38% from the 2022 results, which recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.71%. Despite the dip, several regions have showcased remarkable performance.
Trivandrum, Kerala, has secured the top position with an outstanding overall pass percentage of 99.91%. Following closely behind, Bengaluru recorded an impressive 98.64% pass percentage, while Chennai achieved 97.40%. Delhi West also showcased commendable results with a pass percentage of 93.24%.
The CBSE Class 12th Board examinations were conducted from February 15, 2023, to April 5, 2023, across the country. A total of 16,728 schools participated in holding these examinations, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of students` academic performance.
