In a recent reshuffle, several key appointments and promotions were announced in the Tamil Nadu Police Department. Highlights of the recent reshuffle in the Tamil Nadu Police Department:
- A Arun appointed as the new Commissioner of Avadi, replacing Sandeep Rai Rathore who has been promoted to DGP (Training).
- Promotions to the rank of DGPs for DVAC chief Abhay Kumar Singh, Tangedco vigilance chief K Vannia Perumal, and Rajeev Kumar.
- New SPs appointed in Villupuram and Chengalpattu: G Shashank Sai and VV Sai Praneeth, respectively.
- SP A Pradeep transferred to Madurai as Deputy Commissioner, replaced by Sai Praneeth in Chengalpattu.

- Bala Krisshnan becomes DC of Red Hills, N Manivannan posted as new SP of Vellore.
- Erode SP Sasi Mohan shifted and posted as Q-branch SP.
