General Manager of the Southern Railway Ravikumar informed that an IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) Bharath special train has been introduced.
Southern Railways General Manager Ravikumar informed at Puducherry:
"The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has been introducing special tourism and learning tours throughout India. As a part of this, a special tourism programme with Chennai-Trichy flight and special tour.
In this, IRCTC has introduced a special `Bharath Guarav` for tourists. This train will have 3 air-conditioned coaches, 8 sleeper coaches, 1 pantry car, and 2 power-cars for a total of 14 coaches.
On behalf of the Southern Railway, Bharath Gaurav Tourism Train is operated under the name of `Vaishnavi Devi Yathirai`. This tour is scheduled to start on the 11th of July. The trip will cover Hyderabad, Agra, Mathura, Vaishnav Devi, Amritsar, and New Delhi. On the sleeper coach, the charges are Rs. 25350/- per person and for the air-conditioned coaches, the charges are Rs. 40350/- per person."
