The State Minister for Transport of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, Sa. Si. Sivasankar, informed us that the facility to buy e-tickets for State Transport buses will be introduced shortly!
The State Minister for Electricity, Senthil Balaji, and the State Minister for Transport, Sa. Si. Sivasankar, distributed monetary benefits worth Rs. 145.58 Crores to 518 employees, including those who retired after service in the Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, and Ooty Zones, those who took voluntary retirement, and those who died while in service.
While addressing the gathering at this event, State Minister Senthil Balaji shared:
"The Chief Minister will inaugurate the activities to set up an Information Technology Park in the Coimbatore Zone shortly!"
State Minister for Transport, Sa. Si. Sivasankar, spoke:
"Activities have been initiated to purchase 2000 more buses. Furthermore, 2400 more buses will be procured with the aid of the German Bank. Out of these, the tender has been floated for the procurement of 430 buses with lower floors. The tender for the procurement of the remaining buses will be floated soon. The new buses will be available in the next 4-6 months.
The pensioners` appeal for a rise in the draught allowance has been sent to the Chief Minister for his attention."
