In order to facilitate essential maintenance work at the Tambaram workshop, 16 electric trains operating between Chennai Beach and Tambaram from 9 am to 12 pm have been canceled. The maintenance work aims to ensure the smooth functioning and safety of the railway infrastructure.
During this period, commuters traveling from Chengalpattu and Tirumalpur to Chennai coast will have convenient stops at Tambaram. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and make use of alternative facilities provided by the Railways.
To minimize inconvenience, special passenger trains will be operated from Chennai Beach to Pallavaram at 9.10 am, 9.20 am, 9.40 am, 10.05 am, 10.30 am, 11.00 am, and 11.59 pm. Additionally, special passenger trains will run from Pallavaram to Chennai Beach at 9.55 am, 10.10 am, 10.30 am, 10.50 am, 11.15 am, and 11.45 pm.
Furthermore, a special passenger train service will be available from Tambaram to Chengalpattu at 10.15 pm, 10.45 pm, and 11.40 pm.
Passengers are advised to stay updated with the latest announcements and cooperate with the railway authorities during this maintenance period. The Railways assures that regular services will resume promptly once the maintenance work is completed.
