Food aficionados! Are you ready? Grand Food Festival in Chennai Metro City on 24th & 25th June!

A food festival was celebrated last year at the Chennai Metro Island Grounds on behalf of the Department of Food and Safety. A variety of dishes were displayed and sold at this food festival.
This food festival also showcased the culinary skills of the Women Self-Help Groups. Building on that success, a grand food festival is being organized this year (2023) on the 24th and 25th of June in Chennai Metro City.
Famous food items from Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Afghanistan will be available for sale. Citizens interested in participating in this food festival have to register in advance. To register, please contact the cellphone number 9176483735.
It has been announced that there will be no entrance fee for this grand food festival.
In a joint effort by the Tamil Nadu State government, UNHCR, and OFERR, this year`s grand food festival is being organized at the Chennai Metro City Semmozhi Poonga.
In this regard, Kanimozhi, the Assistant General Secretary of the DMK, has posted on her Twitter page: "We wholeheartedly invite all citizens to participate in the Migrant Communities Food Festival, which will be organized on the 24th and 25th of June at Chennai Metro City Semmozhi Poonga!"
