Women`s self help groups or SHG have developed some natural products on the behalf of TN Women`s Development Corporation. The natural product market will be held at Nungambakkam today and tomorrow.
Information gathered is that TN Rural Livelihoods Movement has been taking several new initiatives to sell the products produced by the women`s self help group in urban and rural areas.
It must be taken into account that every month the nature products market would be held on the first Saturday and Sunday and on the third Saturday and Sunday. Accordingly, in July today and tomorrow SHG will hold a natural products market.
What all will be available:
In this upcoming natural products market at Nungambakkam, natural products such as traditional rice, small grains and small grain value added products, vegetables, greens, palm leaf products produced by various women SHG functioning in various districts belonging to TN would be available.
Various nutritious quality food items prepared by the womane sSHG would also be available in this market.
