Happy news!! Boat rides start today for the tourists in Courtallam in TN!!

Situated in the district of Tenkasi in south Tamil Nadu is Courtallam. Every day, many tourists come here with their families and friends for relaxation. Information collected is that the boat ride would begin from today in Courtallam. The tourists would have to pay Rs 150 to Rs 250 for boat travel of 30 minutes.
Boating is the favourite pastime for the tourists after taking a bath in the water falls here.
A boat club has been organised by the tourism dept at Vennamalai pond on Courtallam- Aindaruvi Road. In the inauguration event, collector Mr. Durai Ravichandran and MPs and MLAs took part and inaugurated the boat ride. For the boat ride, the baots have been kept ready in Aindaruvi Vannamei pond.
Point is that there are 31 boats in total and these include 4 seater pedal boats, 2 seater pedal boats, rowing boats and individual kayaks etc. They include 16 four seater pedal boats, 6 two- seater pedal boats, 5 four seater paddle boats, 4 hayek type personal boats.
Charges:
- For four seater paddle boats - The charges have been fixed at Rs 200 per half hour.
- For two seated pedal boats - the charges has been fixed at Rs 150
- For four seater paddle boats - the charges has been fixed at Rs 250 and
- For Hayak type personal boats - The charges have been fixed at Rs 150. It has been mentioned by the hotel management that the same charge was collected in the last year also.
