26 Trains Suspended in Chennai Suburban Railways, Commuters Demand Resumption

Passengers were left shocked when they discovered that the services of 26 trains on the Chennai suburban line had been suspended, as per the new schedule. Demands were raised by commuters for the resumption of the canceled trains. The affected services include eight trains running from Tiruvallur to Aavadi, nine trains running from Tambaram to Chengalpattu, and nine trains on the flying train route.
The suspension of these train services has caused significant inconvenience for commuters returning home from locations such as Villivakkam, Ambattur, and Tiruvallur after work. The Chennai Beach - Arakkonam train service has also been halted. Railway officials cited the need for track maintenance work during the night as the reason for the service disruptions. They assured commuters that the number of trains would gradually increase over the next few months.
