Tamil Nadu State Government Announcement: Aadhar Card Mandatory to apply for entitlement allowance for women!

The task of distributing the applications for the Kalaignar Women`s Entitlement Allowance is set to commence today, Thursday, 20th July.

The first phase of the camps to be organized in this regard is scheduled to commence on the 24th of July. The second phase of camps will be organized from the 5th of August.

This project is scheduled to be completed in 2 phases. The shops are categorized as per the requirement of the situation, and the applications for the Women`s Entitlement Allowance are to be received.

While the task of distributing applications is undertaken, the opening of savings accounts in banks for those who do not have bank savings accounts is also being carried out.

An additional registrar for each group of 3 districts has been appointed for all districts to monitor the progress of this project.

In this scenario, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that Aadhar cards will be MANDATORY to apply for this Women`s Entitlement Allowance.

As per this, it has been announced that only those women with Aadhar cards can apply for this.

It has also been announced that women who do not have Aadhar cards can visit the nearest Aadhar Centre and submit applications to obtain Aadhar cards.

Furthermore, the District Collectors must undertake to conduct awareness programmes and advertisements in this regard.
