SAMATVA SAMBHRAMA - A Celebration of Music: 2-day Musical Celebration on 5th & 6th Aug 2023

Samatva Foundation, with a vision of highlighting and propagating various nuances and intricacies in each of the art forms of world music, is now coming up with a 2-day musical celebration called “Samatva Sambhrama”, where the legendary and internationally acclaimed musicians would be giving unique performances and insights of what experience would offer in expressions to the art form.
This 2-day festival would be held on the 5th and 6th of August 2023 at the Pathi Sabhangana, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.
Legendary Mrudangam Artist, Padma Vibhushan Awardee, Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman would be inaugurating the festival and performing on the 5th of August, along with other renowned musicians such as Sri Steefan Devassy, Sri Attukal Balasubrahmonian, Sri G. Guru Prasanna, and Sri Vinay Sharva. On the 6th of August, there would be a small presentation “Khanjira Gurooves”, a concept conceived by Sri G. Guru Prasanna followed by a special Karnatic vocal music recital by Sri S. Saketharaman, along with Sri Sumanth M. Manjunath, Sri B. Sivaraman, and Sri C. P. Vyasa Vittala.The event on both the days would be from 5:30 PM onwards.
The foundation has been working relentlessly on making sure the values of the art form are highlighted through its endeavors be it with various programs conducted or the virtual series “Layaaswaada, taste of Rhythm”, that highlighted the nuances of Laya.
