Many students appear for supplementary examinations in Tamil Nadu. It is now revealed that there are now demands that the students who succeed in the supplementary examinations must be provided with a single integrated mark sheet.

It is known that the department of examinations is conducting the public examinations for the students studying in the classes 10,11 and 12 plus for the individual candidates studying in the TN school curriculum. The department of examinations conducts supplementary examinations for the students who fail in the public examinations and the students who succeed in this could pursue higher studies.

In this scenario, there have been demands regarding giving combined mark sheets for those students who  succeeded in the supplementary examinations. It has been brought out that an unknown reader has lodged a complaint over the phone.

In TN, after 2016, those students who have succeeded in the 10th and 12th supplementary examinations and have many certificates have been provided with a single integrated marksheet.

It must be noted that before 2016 the students who have succeeded in the supplementary examinations were not provided with a single marksheet.

This has led to issues in employment and higher education etc for the students. The demand now is that the TN govt must provide a single marksheet.

According to some officials belonging to the dept of examinations from 2016 onwards only the students were being issued identification numbers. The details of these students have been collected and stored in the website.

The officials explained that only for these candidates a single common market could be provided. They concluded that the facilities were not available before 2016 and hence it would not be possible for them to provide a single common marksheet for the students from the previous years.
