Alert for vehicle drivers! Traffic changes on certain dates in Chennai Metro City!

India`s 76th Independence Day is set to be celebrated on the 15th of August. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin will hoist the National Flag at the Secretariat, St. George Fort on this day.
On the occasion of the ensuing Independence Day, it is usual that parades are conducted by the Department of Police and on behalf of other departments. Rehearsals have been organized before the occasion of these parades.
In this scenario, it is learned that the rehearsals for the celebrations of India`s 76th Independence Day are programmed on the 4th, 10th, and 13th of August.
As such, the traffic changes are also scheduled on these three dates: 4th, 10th, and 13th August.
It has been informed on behalf of the Department of Police that traffic will be blocked from Napier`s Bridge up to the War Memorial, Kamarajar Salai, Rajaji Salai, and Flagpole Road.
