The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that the intensity of heat will increase today (Wednesday, 2nd August) in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
In a notification released yesterday (Tuesday, 1st August) by the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, Mr. Senthamaraikkannan, it is mentioned:
"Due to the phenomenon of the changing speeds of the westerly winds blowing towards Tamil Nadu, there are prospects of mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places today (Wednesday, 2nd August) in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal.
The maximum temperature in a few places will be 100 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. There are prospects for an increase in the intensity of heat in a few places!
When both the temperature and the humidity level increase, it may lead to physical uneasiness among the citizens.
The Chennai Metro City and its suburbs will be somewhat cloudy. There are prospects of mild rain in a few places.
The temperature may vary between 82 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
