Now, some relief for the residents of Chennai!!

For the last few days, the weather in Chennai has become very hot is well known. It is said that the high temp might continue to cause huge discomfort to the residents. The late evenings in Chennai would have rains and this was as per the prediction from IMD.
In Chennai, for the next 2 days, there would be light to moderate rains with thunderstorms. This could be due to westerlies plus due to the heat accumulated in the land. Till 11th August, there might be rains in the interior districts in TN and this was according to some weather bloggers.
It has been predicted that for the next 2 days Chennai and its nearby places would receive light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning in some places. The skies would remain cloudy and the maximum temp would be around 37to 38 degree Celisus. The minimum temp would be around 28 degrees Celius.
On Thursday and on Friday, there were chances of rainfall on the north coastal districts and on the adjoining interior districts in TN. In the late evening hours, rainfall might be scattered over a few places. This was mentioned by Mr. Senthamarai Kannan, director, regional weather forecasting center, IMD.
