In an effort to alleviate congestion during the Velankanni Mata temple festival, Southern Railway has introduced special train services. One of these special trains, Train No. 06003, will operate from Tambaram to Velankanni, providing a convenient travel option for devotees.
The designated special train will commence its journey from Thamba on the 28th at 9 pm, arriving at Velankanni at 4:30 am. Similarly, another special train, Train No. 06004, will depart from Velankanni on the 29th at 7:30 pm, reaching Tambaram at 3:15 am.
Scheduled for departure tomorrow (19th) at 5 pm, the train is set to arrive at its destination by 8 am on the 20th. Subsequently, it will depart from Kochu Veli on the 20th and reach Tambaram on the 21st. During its journey, the train will make stops at key stations including Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore Harbour, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur, and Nagapattinam.
