Park located along the Tambaram-Velachery High Road has grabbed the attention now!!

Near the Tambaram Corporation High School on the Tambaram-Velachery High Road there is a park. This park is now making news regarding renovation. The east Tambaram residents are highly concerned about his park now.
Neglected for many years, damaged by the recent heavy rains plus due to road construction etc, the park has become unusable now. The statues and benches present inside this park have been damaged. Bitter fact is that the play areas in the park have been transformed into a dumping ground for both garbage as well as construction waste.The residents here are unhappy and they want a solution immediately regarding the park being used now as a dumping area.
It is now brought out that being close to a nursery school the improper waste disposal at this park would affect the school going children. Moreover, the fence has been broken and due to this many cows etc come and rest here. It was later mentioned by a parent of the school kid that renovating the park would be superb especially for the younger ones.
There are many pipes laid near the park for construction purposes and these pipes could create issues also as they could become a home for deadly snakes etc. This was according to another resident.
