Ration Shops will not function in Tamil Nadu State today (26th) and tomorrow (27th)!

All the public welfare measures implemented by the State Government of Tamil Nadu reach the public solely through the ration shops across the state.
Given this, the role played by the ration card staff is of utmost significance! The ration shop staff not only fulfills their duties but also aids in the implementation of special schemes introduced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu as welfare measures.
The process of receiving application forms for the Women`s Rights Financial Assistance, scheduled to be implemented by September 15th, commenced in July.
According to the Tamil Nadu State Government Order, all the ration shops in Tamil Nadu were open on July 30th, despite it being a holiday. As compensation for working on this day, today, August 26th (Saturday), has been designated as a holiday. Furthermore, tomorrow, August 27th, being a Sunday, will also be a holiday.
In light of this, the public is advised to take note of the two consecutive holidays on August 26th and 27th, during which all the ration shops in Tamil Nadu will remain closed. Please refrain from visiting them during these days!
