Distribution of drinking water to be stopped for 1 day tomorrow (31st August) in Teynampet, Chennai!

The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has informed us that the drinking water supply will be suspended for one day starting tomorrow (Thursday, 31st August) in the Teynampet Zone.
In a notification released by CMWSSB regarding this matter, it is stated:
"The main water pipeline linking work from the Kilpauk Water Purification Plant will be carried out at Sterling Road, Chennai Metro City.
Consequently, water supply will be halted in areas within the Teynampet Zone of Chennai Metro City, including Nungambakkam, Thousand Lights, Theagaraya Nagar, Teynampet, Alwarpet, and Royappettah. This interruption will begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday (31st August) and will continue until 3:00 PM on Friday (1st September). Therefore, the public is urged to take precautionary measures to conserve the necessary amount of water during this period."
