Southern Railway issued a press release on Monday, announcing modifications to the schedules of several major trains, including the Sai Nag Shirdi Express train. These changes include adjustments to departure times and partial cancellations. Here are the details:
Effective from September 6 to October 4:
1. Lalbagh Express (No: 12608) departing from Bengaluru to Chennai Central at 6.20 am and IntCity Express (No: 12680) departing from Coimbatore to Chennai Central at 6.20 am will now make a stop at Katpadi.
2. Mysore-bound Super Express (No: 12609) departing from Chennai Central at 1.35 pm and Coimbatore-bound Indocity Express (No: 12679) departing at 2.35 pm will depart from Katpadi instead of Chennai Central and will continue their journeys according to the regular schedule.
3. Chennai Central Express (No: 16054) departing from Tirupati at 10.10 am will have a stop at Arakkonam from September 6 to October 4. Alternatively, this train (No: 16053) will depart from Arakkonam at 3.25 pm instead of Chennai Central and continue its journey on the regular schedule.
Train Delay Notice:
Chennai Central to Sai Nag Shirdi Express (No: 22601) will experience a delay of two hours, departing at 12.20 pm instead of the usual 10.20 am, effective from Wednesday, September 6.
