Every day, a multitude of devotees throng the Tirupati Elumaliyan temple to seek the blessings of Lord Swami. The number of Swami darshans surges significantly during weekends, with yesterday morning witnessing a remarkable turnout of 76,555 devotees.
Among these ardent devotees, 33,488 chose to offer their hair as a symbol of their devotion. Their collective offerings amounted to a substantial Rs. 4.75 crores in temple contributions, underlining their unwavering faith and commitment.
The surge in devotees has led to high demand for accommodations in the Vaikundam Q complex. As of this morning, all 31 rooms in the complex are fully booked, with devotees patiently waiting for up to 18 hours to have their darshan.
