Tamil Nadu Anticipates Rain, Thunder, and Lightning Today

According to the Director of the Chennai Meteorological Center, Mr. P. Senthamaraikannan, there is a likelihood of rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in Tamil Nadu today, September 12.
The change in the speed of westerly winds directed towards Tamil Nadu is expected to bring about light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in a few areas across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Over the course of the next six days, from tomorrow until the 17th, similar weather conditions are expected to persist, with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall in one or two locations.
Chennai and its surrounding suburbs are expected to witness partly cloudy skies in the coming 48 hours. Some parts of the city may experience spells of light to moderate rain, often accompanied by thunder and lightning, as detailed in the press release.
