Extension of Application Deadline for Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu

The Higher Education Department has announced an extension for student applications to 164 Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2023-24. This extension comes as an opportunity for students who have not yet applied.
In an effort to fill vacant seats in certain junior courses, direct student admission, also known as Spot Admission, was conducted in these colleges starting from August 21, 2023. However, despite these efforts, some government colleges still have unfilled seats in various courses.
As a result, students who have not yet applied for first-year student admission can now submit their applications through the websites www.tngasa.in and www.tngasa.org to seize this opportunity.
The application deadline has been extended by three days, from September 12 to September 14. Comprehensive information regarding unfilled college-wise courses can be accessed on www.tngasa.in under the "TNGASA2023-UG VACANCY" section.
This extension aims to ensure that all eligible students have a fair chance to secure admission to these government institutions for the upcoming academic year.
