It has been raining in southern places and in the northern places belonging to Tamil Nadu as the SW monsoon has intensified now in TN. Now, the Chennai met dept has revealed that till 25th September there would be rains in the state.
The met dept in its release has mentioned that SW monsoons have reduced in the state of Kerala but it has intensified in TN. This has led to heavy rainfall in many parts of southern and northern TN. Maximum rainfall of 90mm has been recorded in the Pudukkottai district in TN. The temperature of 101 degrees Celsius was reported in the districts like Namakkal plus min 6 other districts. In places like Erode and Karur etc, the temp was 3 degrees more than the normal.
The release added that in Kerala state the SW monsoons have reduced whereas in TN SW monsoons have intensified. It concluded that till 25th of September 2023 there would be rains in TN and it would be due to the change in the direction of the winds blowing from the west. It would be cloudy in Chennai and in some places there would be rains with thunder.
