Vegetable, Seafood and Poultry Prices up in Chennai

Already onion prices have shocked the chennaites, now the other vegetable prices are also increasing slowly. Onion has been sold somewhere between Rs. 40 to 60 and garlic in between Rs. 60 and Rs.100. All homemakers are really upset with raising prices.
Also the recent diesel and petrol hike has increased the cost of seafood and poultry. 1 kg chicken is Rs. 170 and also the fish cost have increased a lot. Chennaites are all facing a tough time because of the sudden increase of all food items.
