The important issue many face now at GST Road in Tambaram revealed!!

The only way to cross the GST Road at Tambaram is by using FOB or foot over bridge as this road is full of traffic.
There is an escalator present at the FOB on the GST Road at Tambaram Sanatorium I south Chennai. Now, the commuters want the escalator that is not functioning properly to be repaired. It must be noted that the Tambaram sanatorium bus stand is located opposite the escalator.
Point is that during the festival seasons here, there are more passengers and they find it tough to climb up with huge luggages in their hands.
It was pointed out by a local resident that till now there has been no permanent solution to this issue here. He spoke about how after complaining about the non functioning escalator the concerned officials would repair the escalator and how after some time it would go to non functioning condition.
Secretary of Chitlapakkam based Anna Nagar Residents Welfare Association Mr. Chandrasekaran mentioned that due the absence of pedestrian crosswalks many passengers find it tough to reach the other side of the road. He added that especially senior citizens were finding it difficult as they would have to climb up the staircase.
