Chennai Metro Rail Company has been awarded an ISO Certificate for its excellence in environmental practices, execution, and maintenance. The company has received the prestigious `ISO 9001` certification for quality management and `ISO 14001 for Environmental Management` for Phase-1.
The ISO Certificates were officially presented to M A Siddique, Managing Director of Chennai Metro Rail Company, at the company`s Head Office by Winston Isaac, the Manager of the ISO Certificate Issuing Authority, `Bureau VERITAS.`
Chennai Metro Rail officials revealed that these certificates were granted following comprehensive audits conducted in August and November 2023. This recognition is expected to further enhance the company`s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
The event, during which the ISO Certificates were conferred, was attended by key personnel, including H. Jayalakshmi, Chief Security Manager of Chennai Metro Rail, A R Rajendran, Chief General Manager (Coaches and Operations), and S Satish Prabhu, Additional General Managers (Coaches and Operations).
This achievement underscores Chennai Metro Rail Company`s dedication to meeting international standards in environmental management, execution, and maintenance, contributing to the continuous improvement of its overall quality.
