TNPSC Group-4 tests scheduled on the 9th of June! Last date to apply: 28th February!

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is responsible for recruiting various posts in different government departments. The commission has scheduled a written examination for vacant positions such as Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Forest Security, etc., on June 9, 2024. The deadline to apply for participation in this Group-4 TNPSC written examination is February 28.
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducts various tests for different categories of vacancies in government departments. Accordingly, TNPSC released an announcement yesterday (Tuesday, January 30) to fill 224 vacancies in various government departments, including Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistants, typists, etc., under the Group-4 category.
New posts, including Forest Security Officer, Forest Guards, etc., have been added to the Group-4 category. These positions were previously filled by the Uniformed Public Service Department but are now included under the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
The recent announcement for the Group-4 examination includes vacancies for the recruitment of 1177 Forest Security and Forest Guards positions.
The application process for these examinations of Group-4 commenced yesterday (Tuesday, January 30). Interested candidates must visit the official TNPSC website (https://www.tnpsc.gov.in/) and apply before February 29.
Time will be provided for any necessary corrections to submitted applications on March 4 and 5.
Subsequently, the written examination for these Group-4 vacancies will be conducted on June 9 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
