Weather Forecast: Dry Conditions Ahead for Tamil Nadu, Pudhuvai, and Karaikal, Cyclonic Winds Expected in Coastal Areas!

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating dry weather conditions expected to prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pudhuvai, and Karaikal for the next few days.

17th and 18th February 2024:
During these two days, the region is anticipated to experience dry weather with temperatures possibly rising 2 to 3 degrees Celsius above normal levels. Additionally, there is a likelihood of light fog in some areas of East Timor during the morning hours. However, it`s important to note that cyclonic winds with speeds ranging from 45 to 55 kmph and occasional gusts up to 65 kmph are expected over Southeast coastal areas, Gulf of Mannar, and Kumari Sea. Consequently, fishermen are advised to refrain from venturing into these regions during this period.

19th to 23rd February 2024:
Dry weather conditions are expected to persist over Tamil Nadu, Pudhuvai, and Karaikal during this period. The sky is forecasted to be partly cloudy in Chennai for the next 48 hours. Maximum temperatures are projected to reach around 32-33 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 22-23 degrees Celsius.
