The Health department in Tamil Nadu is gearing up for the Pulse Polio Immunisation campaign scheduled for March 3. A significant target of 57.83 lakh children is set for immunisation across the state.
As part of the extensive campaign, the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine has announced the establishment of 43,051 booths. A dedicated workforce of two lakh staff members will be actively engaged in the immunisation efforts. To meet the demands of the campaign, a substantial supply of 89.24 lakh vaccine doses has been made available.
This initiative underscores the state`s commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of its young population, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive polio immunisation.
